On March 12, 2023 at approximately 10:40 am Perkasie Borough Police and Perkasie Borough Fire Crews were dispatched to 1305 B Parkridge Court for an active building Fire. Upon arrival Perkasie Fire Department personnel gained access to the building and located one fire victim in a upstairs bedroom. The victim, a 75 year old female, appeared to have suffered from smoke inhalation and was deceased at the scene. Perkasie Fire Company was assisted at the scene by Sellersville Fire Company. Fire crews remained on scene for approximately 3 1/2 hours.
The cause and origin of the fire is being investigated by Perkasie Borough Police Detectives and the Bucks County Fire Marshals Office. The cause of death is being investigated by Perkasie Borough Detectives and the Bucks County Coroner's Office.
