Perkasie Borough Police responded to a two vehicle traffic accident on 10/1/2022 at 8:18 p.m. A Ford Focus travelling on S. Ridge Rd. observed an oncoming vehicle crossing over the double yellow line several times and enter his lane of travel. The operator stopped his vehicle but was struck by the oncoming vehicle. That vehicle, a GMC Envoy rolled over onto the passenger side of the vehicle and slid onto the right side of the roadway. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. The operator of the Envoy was suspected to be under the influence and was taken into police custody and transported to the hospital for blood work.
