The Perkasie Borough Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Dollar Tree in Perkasie Square on Tuesday 8/25/20 at 9:00 p.m. The suspect entered the store at closing time and asked about composition notebooks. He was directed to the proper aisle. When he approached the register, he produced a black handgun and demanded money. Suspect then took a male and female employee into the office where he had them empty the safe. The suspect told the employees to enter a back room and not to come out. When employees emerged, the suspect had left the area.
Suspect is a black male, 5'5" 170 lbs. wearing a dark baseball cap, blue surgical mask, gray long sleeve shirt, black pants and light blue/grey Nike sneakers. No vehicle description.
