Over the last few weeks, Penndel Police has seen an increase in the amount of calls for juveniles riding bikes in the roadway as well as in the Penndel Shopping Center at 33 S. Bellevue Ave. We would like to remind parents that these actions place the child in danger of serious injury as most of riders are not wearing helmets. Riding in and out of traffic on Bellevue Ave is especially dangerous due to heavy traffic flow and large vehicles. Even in parking lots injuries can happen. Please educate your children on the dangers of riding without helmets and ask that they stay on the sidewalks and out of the street.
