On the 6th of September, an employee of Denny Electric came to the station to report that the store had been broken into over the Labor Day weekend, between 8/31 and 9/4. Upon opening the store after the holiday, it was discovered that large spools of copper wire had been stolen from the business. Security cameras picked up the incident as well as the suspect and the vehicle that was used.

On September 13th, Denny Electric called back indicating they had been the victims of another burglary. The suspects attempted to gain access to the same door as before, but it had been secured with 2x4s. In the 2nd incident, the suspects used a discarded piece of wood to stop a ventilation fan and climb in.

The estimate is around $15,000 total loss to Denny Electric between the 2 incidents. This case is still under investigation.
