On 07/25/2022 at 2:00 pm Penndel Police responded to the 500 block of Hulmeville Ave for the report of an attempted burglary that occurred at approximately 1:30 am.  The victim reported that an unknown actor attempted to gain entry to their residence through a ground level window that had an air conditioner in it.   The way that the air conditioner was secured in the window made the entry attempt unsucessful.  Penndel Police responded and processed the scene for evidence.  Residents are urged to make sure that their windows and doors are locked and that any ground level windows with air conditioners are secured thoroughly. 

On 07/05/2022 there was another burglary in the same area that Pennsylvania State Police are investigating due to the on-duty Penndel Police Officer being on another priority call.  Penndel Police have been in contact with Pennsylvania State Police to maintain clear lines of communication between both agencies. 

Residents are further urged to remain vigilant for suspicious persons, vehicles, and circumstances in the area.  Any suspicious activity should be immediately reported to police by calling 9-1-1 or 215-757-5151.
