While conducting traffic enforcement at the Our Lady of Grace School on the 24th of September, officers observed a white pickup come through the school zone at a high rate of speed. This was further confirmed by a speed timing device. The vehicle was stopped and officers made contact with the driver and sole occupant, Timothy Wayne Riggle. While speaking with Riggle, officers noticed that he was speaking with slurred speech, a dry mouth and pinpoint pupils. Riggle admitted to using heroin earlier in the day and had taken suboxone before being stopped. Riggle was asked to perform Field Sobriety Testing, which he was unable to perform. Riggle was arrested for suspected DUI as well as an active warrant.
