On the 3rd of December, officers conducing traffic enforcement in the area of Lincoln Hwy and S. Bellevue Ave checked a registration tag and found it to be a 'dead tag', which is not allowed to be used as a tag on a vehicle. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers made contact with 3 occupants.
While speaking with the occupants, there was drug paraphernalia in plain view on the floor of the driver’s seat and in the console. During the investigation, the front passenger Brian J. Walsh stated he had marijuana on him as well as some paraphernalia in his pockets. Walsh was arrested for the possession.
The driver of the vehicle gave a fake name of “David Quinn”. He refused to give his legal name after being informed he was being detained and was arrested. It was later found out his name was John Rawson. Rawson will be charged with providing a false name as well as multiple drug possession charges.
One of the occupants, Michael Hudock had an active arrest warrant from Montgomery County and was taken into custody.
