On the 16th of October, Officers observed a vehicle traveling West on Lincoln Hwy near Bellevue Avenue that appeared to have a improper sun screening device placed on the front windows of the vehicle. The vehicle was followed down Lincoln Hwy and multiple indicators of possible impaired driving were noticed. The vehicle was stopped and contact was made with Daniel Gokool, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. Officers could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage upon his breath and person. Gokool was asked to participate in field sobriety exercises, which he was unable to complete. Charges are pending the outcome of lab testing.
