DUI

          Patrol conducted a Traffic Stop due to a vehicle traveling in the area of Bustleton Pike and New Road at a high rate of speed and crossing the double line.  A strong odor of alcohol was detected and emanating from the female driver.  A Field Sobriety Test was conducted and failed.  She was taken into custody. 

Tuesday, 1/2/18

DUI

        Patrol observed a vehicle traveling on Second Street Pike without operable headlights or taillights. A Traffic Stop was conducted in the area of Tanyard Road and Windrose Drive.  A strong odor of alcohol was detected emanating from the male driver.  A Field Sobriety Test was administered and failed.  He was taken into custody.

Accident

          Patrol responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Bridgetown Pike and Drew Drive.  The driver reports when applying the brakes, he struck the curb and the vehicle rolled over.  No injuries reported,the vehicle was towed from the scene.

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Second Street Pike and West Bristol Road.  No injuries reported, both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Wednesday 1/3/18

Accident

          Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident on Almshouse Road at Creek Drive.  The driver reports a deer ran into the roadway striking his vehicle.  No injuries reported, the vehicle was towed from the scene.

        Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Jacksonville Road and West Bristol Road.  The driver reports he was stopped at the traffic light when his foot slipped off the brake pedal and his vehicle rolled forward striking the vehicle in front of him.  No injuries reported, minor damage to both vehicles.

        Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Almshouse Road and Jacksonville Road.  The driver reports entering a driveway when he began to slide on ice, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and striking a tree.  No injuries reported, vehicle was towed from the scene.

Thursday, 1/4/18

Accident

          Complainant reports traveling on Elm Avenue near Bustelton Pike when she swerved off the roadway and into a ditch trying to avoid striking an oncoming vehicle.  No injuries, moderate damage to vehicle.

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident on Industrial Drive.  The driver reports he was snow plowing when he struck a parked UPS truck.  No injuries reported, minor damage to vehicles.

          Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident on Elm Avenue in the area of the Churchville Reservoir.  The driver reports hitting slush and snow, veering off the roadway striking a tree.  No injuries reported, the vehicle was towed from the scene.

          Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident on Bridgetown Pike at Vernasa Drive.  The driver reports he lost control of the vehicle striking a stump of an old utility pole.  No injuries reported, minor damage to vehicle.

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident on East Village Road.  The driver reports he was plowing the parking lot in Sturbridge Commons when a vehicle backing out of a parking space struck his vehicle.  No injuries reported.

          Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Holland Road and Patricia Road.  The driver reports a deer ran into the roadway.  No injuries reported.

Accident

          Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident on Buck Road near Watergate Drive.  The driver reports an unknown object appeared in the roadway and struck his vehicle.  Deer hair was found in the front bumper.  No injuries reported, minor damage to vehicle.

          Patrol observed a vehicle on Holland Road that had slide off the roadway and into a snow bank.  No injuries reported.

          Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Almshouse Road and North Friesland Drive.  The driver reports he was traveling on Almshouse Road, when a Christmas tree flew into the front of the vehicle.  No injuries reported, minor damage to vehicle.

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident on Buck Road near Mallard Road.  The driver reports traveling on Buck Road when her vehicle was struck from behind.  No injuries reported, both vehicles were towed from the scene.

          Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Holland Road and East Patricia Road.  The driver reports a deer ran into the roadway and struck the vehicle.  No injuries reported.

Saturday 1/6/18

DUI

          Patrol observed a vehicle fail to stop at the posted stop sign on Harmony Drive.  A Traffic Stop was conducted at the intersection of Fir Drive and Redwood Drive.  A strong odor of marijuana was detected emanating from the male driver.  A Field Sobriety Test was administered and failed, the male driver was taken into custody.

Accident

          Patrol observed a minor two vehicle accident in the area of Second Street Pike and the Crossroads Plaza.  The driver reports traveling on Second Street Pike, swerving and hitting the snow bank trying to avoid striking a vehicle. 

Criminal Mischief

          Patrol responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the snow mound on Upper Holland Road at Torresdale Drive.  The driver admitted that he was four wheeling on school property and had turfed the lawn. 

Sunday 1/7/18

Theft-

        A grill was stolen off the front of a 2002 Ford Explorer that was parked in the lot of the Schoolhouse Ctr. Value approx. $100.

Accident

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident in the Acme parking lot on Second Street Pike.  Complainant reports finding that a pick-up truck was on top of her vehicles front bumper.  No injuries reported, minor damage.

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident intersection of Briarwood Drive and Tanglebrook Drive.  The driver reports traveling on Briarwood Drive when a vehicle pulled out in front of him and struck the vehicle.

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident on Second Street Pike and Bustleton Pike.  The driver reports she was stopped at the traffic light when her vehicle was rear ended.  No injuries, minor damage.

          Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Holland Road and Elm Avenue.  The driver reports slowing down as he approached traffic when his vehicle was rear ended.  No injuries reported, minor damage.

Monday 1/8/18

Accident

Patrol responded to a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection of  Newtown-Richboro Road and Holland Road.  The driver reports stopping for traffic and being struck in the rear.  All drivers reported no injuries, two of the three vehicles were towed from the scene.

Criminal Mischief / Loitering and Prowling at night

          Buck Hill Dr in Holland. The complainant reports an unknown actor was attempting to gain entry into his residence at 1:44 am. The subject was found to be smashing a college size refrigerator on the rear sliding door of the home. The subject was located and he was taken into custody.
