10-04-2021

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to West Bristol Rd. at Davisville Rd. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 rear ended Unit #2. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle was towed.

10-05-2021

Attempted Fraud
Complainant reports receiving a notice from Wells Fargo stating her application was denied for an account. The complainant reports not applying to open an account and the subject who attempted to open an account did not use the complainant’s correct name. Complainant contacted Wells Fargo who advised to file a police report.
 
Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to 2nd St. Pike at Newtown Richboro Rd. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 pulled out of a parking lot in front of Unit #2 causing a collision. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
 
Fraud
Complainant reports receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be with Amazon Fraud Department. The subject informed the complainant that his account has been compromised and he was instructed to purchase Apple and Google gift cards. The complainant purchased the gift cards and provided the numbers to the subject. After a few moments, the complainant realized it was a scam and contacted the Police.
 
DUI Accident
Patrol responded to Orthodox Dr. at Temperance Lane for a report of a motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, Patrol observed a motorcycle laying on the ground with no operator on scene. Patrol located the operator at a residence. Due to injuries, he was transported to SMMC for further evaluation. After further investigation, it was learned that the operator was Driving Under the Influence.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Hatboro Rd. at Bobbie Dr. for a one vehicle accident. Unit #1 was traveling on Hatboro Rd. when a deer ran into his vehicle. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
 
Fraud
Complainant reports that she wrote a check for $10 for homecare services. While checking her bank statement, she noticed the check was altered and changed to $2150.22. Complainant notified the bank of the fraud. CID unit is following up.

10-07-2021

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Renee Circle for a report of a hit and run accident. Unit #1 struck Unit #2 while turning around. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
 
Fires
Patrol responded to a residence off Winding Way for a report of a fire. Upon arrival, the plumber informed the Fire Department of an outlet smoking. Northampton Fire Department handled the incident and Patrol resumed.
 
DUI Accident
Patrol responded to Portsmouth Ct. for a report of an accident. Unit #1 sideswiped Unit #2 which was parked. After further investigation, the operator of Unit #1 was taken into custody for DUI.
 
Theft from Vehicle
Patrol responded to Jacqueline Circle for a theft from vehicle. An unknown subject entered the complainant’s vehicle and stole a bottle of cologne. The theft occurred between 10/6/2021 at 7:30 p.m. and 10/7/2021 at 7:30 a.m.

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Churchville Lane and Nelson Dr. for a report of a two vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1 turned left in front of Unit #2 causing a collision. There were no reported injuries, but Unit #2 required a tow.

10-09-2021

Traffic Accident
Patrol responded to Frog Hollow Dr. for a report of a one vehicle traffic accident. Unit #1, a tractor trailer accidentally struck low hanging wires, pulling them down from several residences. There were no injuries reported.
 
Fires
Patrol responded to Ann Dr. for a report of an oven fire. Upon arrival, Patrol assisted the Northampton Fire Dept. with opening windows and ventilating the residence from the smoke.

10-10-2021

Fires
Patrol responded to a residence in Village Shires for a report of an oven fire. Upon arrival, the oven was unplugged and power was shut off. It appeared to be a bad element inside the oven.
