Strong-Arm Robbery/Wanted Subject
On Thursday March 14, 2019 at approx. 08:23 hrs. police responded to a call for assistance at 295 Buck Rd in the Holland section of Northampton Township. Upon arrival the victim reported that car keys were taken by force by a known subject, Marcus Rosario. Rosario fled from the scene just prior to police arrival. Police found that Rosario had a active warrant for his arrest along with a Protection from Abuse order lodged against him. Responding officers observed Rosario in the area of Buck Rd and Holland Road, and he ran into the wooded property off Chinquapin Rd. After a short foot chase police located Rosario crossing the creek and then hiding in sticker bushes. After being taken into custody police found Rosario in possession of drug paraphernalia. Northampton Township Police were assisted in apprehending Marcus Rosario by Upper Southampton Township Police and Lower Southampton Township Police. Rosario was arraigned before District Justice William Benz on the Outstanding Bench Warrant, The PFA Order along with Robbery, Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, Flight to avoid apprehension, Harassment and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000.00/10% Bail.
