Northampton Township Police arrested Christopher Brian Gasiewski shortly after police took a theft complaint from a resident of the Holland section of Northampton Township. On July 27, 2019 police responded to the residence of the victim to take a theft from auto report. The complainant reported that sometime between 6PM, July 26, 2019 and 10AM on July 27, 2019 someone entered her car and removed an Ipod Nano, a USB cord, and change. The Ipod had distinctive markings making the Ipod easily identifiable.
After completing the on scene investigation, the same officers investigated the report of a male inside of the Dunkin Donuts in the Village Shires Shopping Center. The man was reportedly “nodding and falling asleep” and had been in the store for a few hours. While investigating the man, identified as 22 year old Christopher Brian Gasiewski, police noticed that Gasiewski was in possession of an Ipod Nano with distinctive marking as described by the theft complainant. The complainant, at the request of police, responded to the Dunkin Donuts, where the Ipod was positively identified as the one owned by the complainant and stolen overnight. Gasiewski was arrested, arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $100,000.00 bail.
