Tyler State Park Deer Hunt December 4, 2019

Newtown Township, Pa -  The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will be conducting a one day deer hunt at Tyler State Park on Wednesday December 4, 2019.  This hunt is held every year and is intended to reduce both antlered and antlerless deer populations.  The Bureau of State Parks assures us that they take every precaution to ensure that the hunt is conducted safely.  In addition, safety zones, no hunting areas, and park boundaries will be posted and strictly enforced.  You will see increased law enforcement officers in the area  as extra Park Rangers, Wildlife Conservation Officers and State Police Officers will be stationed throughout the park during the hunt.

Please be advised that Tyler State Park will be closed to other activities for that day.

Any questions or concerns that you may have should be directed to the Bureau of State Parks.
