ARMED ROBBERY / RITE AID: Seeking the Public's Assistance



On April 3, 2017 at approximately 5:34 a.m., Newtown Township Police were dispatched to the Rite Aid for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred in which no weapon was displayed however he did gesture as if he had a weapon and kept his hands in his pockets most of the time.  

The actor immediately went to an employee and demanded the cash from the register, which he did receive.  The actor immediately fled the store after receiving the cash and crossed Sycamore Street on foot.  A K-9 track was conducted with the assistance of the Middletown Township Police Department, however the actor was not apprehended.

The actor was described as a white male, estimated to be his 20's, thin build, approximately 6 foot tall, wearing a black nylon hoodie, dark knit ski mask, gloves, dark sweat pants and white sneakers.  

***Rite Aid is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the robbery suspect***
