On Friday 12/07/2018 at approximately 3:01 pm, Newtown Township Police responded to the Citizen's Bank, located at 48 West Road - Newtown Township, for the report of a fraud in progress. The caller reported that a female was on scene, using a counterfeit drivers license and was attempting to access the victim's bank account to withdrawal funds from the account. Bank staff was able to successfully stall the female suspect until responding officers arrived, where she was identified as 51 year old Tiffany McCrimmon, from New York. McCrimmon was taken into custody without incident. During a subsequent interview with Detectives, she revealed that a male accomplice had produced a counterfeit drivers license displaying her picture and the victim's personal information, and had driven her from New York to banks within Pennsylvania for the purpose of fraudulently withdrawing funds from the victim's bank account. McCrimmon was arraigned by MDJ Mark Douple and was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.
