CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS UNIT

The Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU) consists of officers that are specially trained in the investigation of crimes against people and property. Criminal Investigators have specialized training in the investigation of specific crimes, including but not limited to, arson, burglary, computer crimes, frauds and sex offenses. Investigators also have specialized training in the recovery of physical evidence, the interviewing of victims of crime and the interrogation of criminal suspects.
