On Monday, February 4th, 2019, officers were dispatched to 1820 N. Limekiln Pike (Route 152) for the report of a one-vehicle crash; an SUV into a house. Prior to arriving, updated information came in that the driver had fled on foot; headed south on N. Limekiln Pike and then turned left onto Skunk Hollow Road. One officer went to the crash scene while three officers began searching for the driver. Officers searched the area on foot and a police K9 was enroute to the scene to assist in the search. An officer located the driver, named Justin Kneer, laying next to the large fallen tree near the creek on Skunk Hollow Road. The K9 arrived and had tracked from the crash scene to exactly where the Kneer was hiding. An officer at the crash scene located and seized drug paraphernalia. Kneer was arrested and transported to Doylestown Hospital for a blood draw for chemical testing. Kneer had also be checked into the hospital for an evaluation and medical clearance. Kneer was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Montgomery County. Kneer was transported to police headquarters after he was medically cleared, where he awaited pick up by Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies. Charges were filed on Kneer and he has since waived his preliminary hearing; the case has been forwarded to the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.
