On Thursday, June 13, 2019 at approximately 10:44 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on Edinboro Circle for the report of a domestic disturbance in progress. The juvenile complainant reported his mother, Nicole Crawford, was intoxicated, throwing things and coming after the complainant and the complainant's juvenile brother. Upon the officers arrival, the complainant directed the officers inside and to the basement where yelling was heard; noting she was going to hurt the complainant's brother. While onscene, Crawford was found to be intoxicated and out of control. Officers had to stop Crawford from continuing to go after her juvenile children. Crawford even swatted at one officer as well as struck and pushed another officer; she was taken into custody for assaulting her juvenile children as well as assaulting an officer. Officers called Crawford's boyfriend and he was able come over and care for her children. Crawford refused to be processed, however this was handled later at the Bucks County Correctional Facility. Crawford was arraigned in front of Judge Gambardella at approximately 5:15 am and her bail was set at $25,000 (10%) with several bail conditions; she was subsequently transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. Officers reported this incident to Childline which will refer the case to Bucks County Children & Youth Services.
