July 20-26, 2021

Fraud – 07/20/21 @ 09:45 – Report of fraudulent unemployment benefits received by victim who did not file for unemployment.  Incident occurred on the 100 block of Chambers Street.

Warrant/Receiving Stolen Property – A Warrant will be issued for Robert Houck, age 37, for pawning stolen property to a business on the 300 block of W. Bridge Street.  The items were reported stolen on 7/19/21 in Falls Township. 

Arrest/Harassment – 07/20/21 @ 15:20 – Andrew Nyere, age 60, will be cited for Harassment for an incident that occurred on the unit block of Hillcrest Avenue.

Fraud – 07/22/21 @ 12:40 – Victim notified that someone had attempted to open a credit card account in their name.  The account was denied.

Bicycle Theft – 07/22/21 @ 14:13 – Report of a teal Beach Cruiser bicycle missing within the past few days from the 100 block of N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Value:  $150.00

Fraud – 07/23/21 @ 11:26 – Report of victim exchanging messages and indecent photos on Instagram. The account operator then demanded $500.00 via pay pal or the photos would be sent out to “everyone.”  The victim sent $45.00 but the account operator proceeded to send pictures on Instagram to the victim’s friends. 

Retail Theft – 07/23/21 @ 11:26 – Report of three boxes of hand held light torches and a black t-shirt were stolen from a business on the unit block of E. Bridge Street.  Suspect described as a white male wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, brown work boots, blue and gray baseball cap and a black backpack.  Value:  $70.00

Bicycle Theft – 07/23/21 @ 15:05 – Report of a blue Cannondale Bad Habit 1 bicycle that had the double locks cut was stolen overnight from the 400 block of W. Bridge Street.  Value: $2,648.00

Arrest/DUI – 07/23/21 @ 20:13 – Dana Ridley, age 49, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and other related charges following a traffic stop on E. Bridge Street and S. Delmorr Avenue.  He was processed and released pending a summons.

Theft of Motor Vehicle – 07/24/21 @ 09:40 – Report of a 2018 white Acura MDX stolen overnight from a driveway on the unit block of W. Maple Avenue.  The keys were left in the unlocked vehicle.  The vehicle was recovered by Trenton Police later that evening.

Theft – 07/24/21 @ 11:57 – Report of an Echo Weed Wacker and a Max Back Pack Blower stolen from a trailer parked in front of home on the 400 block of Woodland Avenue.  Value: $900.00

Arrest/Assault – 07/25/21 @ 06:10 – Shawn Derry, age 50, was arrested for Simple Assault following a domestic incident at an apartment on the 400 block of Plaza Boulevard.  He was processed and sent to Buck’s County Prison.

Arrest/DUI – 07/26/21 @ 05:07 – Michael Racelis, age 40, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence after a traffic accident on Doloro Drive and Melvin Avenue. A summons will be issued to appear at court.  When he came to Headquarters later in the day to get his vehicle release, he was arrested for an active warrant for Parole Violation from Chester County.  He was processed and taken to Bucks County Prison.  

Arrest/Bicycle Theft – 07/26/21 @ 15:15 – Douglas Zieniuk, age 30, was arrested for pawning a stolen black Huffy Mountain bicycle to a business on the 300 block of W. Bridge Street.  He will be processed at a later date and receive a summons to appear at court.

Arrest/Harassment – 07/26/21 @ 19:35 – Jeffrey Giles, age 61, was cited for Harassment after a domestic incident on the unit block of N. Pennsylvania Avenue.
