Community Programs

Safer Neighborhoods Are Possible (S.N.A.P.)

Designed to encourage residents to participate in block watching and other crime prevention programs in their neighborhood. Interested parties are provided with a packet of information on how to start a S.N.A.P. group in their area, and on what direct services the Township offers to help in organizing such a group.

Emergency Business Contact Program

Designed specifically for businesses within the community. Each business fills out a form identifying the owner and three emergency contact employees. This information is placed in the Police Department database for emergency purposes.

Home and Business Surveys

Upon a request from a home or business owner, an officer will come out and perform a security survey of the residence or business and make suggestions for improving security.

Crime Prevention Talks

Officers are available to talk about crime prevention topics including personal security, robbery prevention, etc.

Townships Against Graffiti (T.A.G.)
