"BEEHIVE STATE" RESIDENT STUNG! A 34-year-old Eagle Mountain, Utah resident named STEVEN CHAD RAWLINS couldn't keep his hands out of the "iPhone Honey Pot" and grabbed an iPhone XR from a secured area that he was doing contracting work in. As it turned out, the boxed phone was equipped with a state of art tracking device that alerted authorities 6 seconds after it was removed from the store. The "real-time" tracking was being watched by authorities as RAWLINS entered the Pennsylvania Turnpike and exceeded the speed limit on numerous occasions while heading up the NE Extension. PSP units were advised of the incident and they were waiting for RAWLINS at the Quakertown Interchange. He was taken in custody and transferred to Lower Southampton Police custody at the PSP barracks at Dublin. RAWLINS was arraigned and was released after posting bail and will have his day in court.
