ROAD CLOSURE!! As of today, MAKEFIELD Rd at Big Oak is closed for approx. 2 weeks. The PA Water Co is installing pipe under Rock Run Creek and is closing Makefield just north of Big Oak. See attached image for detour. Please advise others. Schools notified. capture.jpg

TRUCK ENFORCEMENT. On Wednesday, December 18th, the LMTPD Truck Enforcement Unit, ran a truck safety check on the By-Pass. Trucks were checked for safety violations, and drivers for proper commercial driver qualifications. 4 trucks were cited, 2 drivers were cited with one placed out-of-service.
Sporadic power outages have been reported in Lower Makefield. The Lower Makefield Township Community Center located at 1550 Oxford Valley Rd. is open to any resident in need of a charging station for your laptop, cell phone, etc. PECO is working to restore power as soon as possible.
