ARREST – (DRUGS) – Creamery Rd at Doe Trail Rd at 10:25PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 31-year-old male driver from Philadelphia. Inside the vehicle was a large amount of marijuana, a quantity of pills and drug related paraphernalia. Also, several hundred dollars in cash was forfeited from the defendant. He is facing numerous drug related charges.

THEFT FROM VEHILCE – Black Rock Rd @ the Delaware Canal, reported at 9:07AM. Victim reported returning to their vehicle from using the Canal towpath and discovered that a window had been smashed out. The victim’s purse, which contained a wallet, debit and credit cards and identification was taken. The incident occurred between 8:00AM – 8:45AM.

8/17/19

FRAUD – Unit block Lavender Dr, reported at 8:47AM. Victim reported that three credit card accounts were opened with their information. Two of the card accounts were denied, but a third was opened with no charges made to the card.

ARREST – (DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE) – US Route 1 and Oxford Valley Rd at 2:58PM. Police on patrol observed a male sleeping inside his vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the 34-year-old male driver was DUI. He was taken into custody.

8/16/19

ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 400 block Margery Rd, reported at 9:34AM. Complainant reported having surveillance video from their home security system of a several male subjects trying the vehicle door handles of their vehicle at about 3:34AM on 8/15/19.

8/15/19

THEFT FROM VEHICLE:           

            500 block Nancy Rd, reported at 3:20PM. Victim reported that sometime in the overnight hours, $5 was removed from the vehicle. In addition, $30 was taken from a wallet that was left. The vehicle was left unlocked.

            900 block Putnam Dr, reported at 8:51AM. Victim reported that sometime on 8/9/19, a gas credit card was taken from the vehicle. Someone attempted to use it, but was unsuccessful, as the card had already been deactivated. The vehicle was left unlocked.

ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE - 1000 block Randolph Dr, reported at 8:30AM. Victim reported that person(s) attempted to break into their locked vehicle at about 2:00AM this date, it was recorded on the victim’s home surveillance security system. The attempt was not successful.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 100 block Glen Valley Dr, reported at 6:20AM. Complainant reports that their home surveillance (cameras) were tampered with at about 6:06AM by a male, no further description.


8/13/19

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY – 2000 block Polo Run Dr, reported at 8:08PM. Complainant reported returning home and discovered that a screen had been partially removed and a chair was positioned under a window of the apartment’s balcony. A witness told investigating officer’s that at about 6:30PM, two white males and a white female were attempting to gain access to the balcony of this apartment. No entry was gained to the apartment.

THEFT – 1700 block Kathy Dr, reported at 7:56AM. Victim reported that two Trek brand bicycles with a total value of about $1,000 were taken from a nearby bike rack between 1245PM and 1045PM on 8/12/19. The locks to the bikes were cut off.

FRAUD – 800 block Kilby Dr, reported at 4:52PM. Complainant reported receiving a phone call from a person claiming to be with the Social Security Administration. The complainant unknowingly gave the caller their social security number and date of birth over the telephone. 

CRIME PREVENTION TIP: Never give out your personal information over the phone to someone that you don’t know or received a phone call from, unless you initiated the call for a legitimate reason. This could include calls from people claiming to be with the IRS, Social Security Administration, F.B.I. or another governmental agency. In most cases you would be contacted via U.S. Mail, not by phone, unless you initiated the call to a particular agency.

The same applies to receiving an email. Never reply or click on a link associated with the email. It could lead to your computer being infected with a virus / malware.

THEFT – 1000 block Edgewood Rd at the township basketball courts. Victim reported that cash was taken from their wallet that was left on a bleacher, while playing a game of basketball. The incident occurred between 7:00 and 8:30PM.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 600 block Burgundy Pl, reported at 1:43PM. Victim reported that $400 in cash was taken from the unlocked vehicle overnight, sometime after 12:00AM.

            CRIME PREVENTION TIP: When leaving your vehicle parked outside your residence or anywhere else, in addition to locking the doors; anything of value should be taken from plain sight. This includes money, credit cards, sunglasses, cellular devices, laptop computers and the list goes on. If your residence has a garage, please utilize it.

8/11/19

ARREST – (DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE) – Combine Ln and Silo Rd at 1:04AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation led to the arrest of the 20-year-old male driver from Yardley for DUI. In addition to the driver, two 18-year-old male passengers were cited for underage drinking.

8/10/19

ARREST – (DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE) – 700 block Sandy Run Rd at 11:10PM. Police responded to the report of a one vehicle accident. Further investigation revealed that the 54-year-old female driver from Langhorne, PA was DUI. She was taken into police custody for processing.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 100 block Glen Valley Rd, reported at 11:10AM. Victim’s reported reviewing video from their Ring doorbell camera system and observed a white male, thin build, crew cute style hair and wearing a bandana around his face and wearing rubber gloves making entry into the residence. This occurred at about 2:57AM, while the residents were asleep. Entry was made via a side door to an attached garage. The door was locked, but it appears from the video the actor may have used a lock picking tool or key(s) to gain entry.

The actor was then able to gain access to the main residence via the kitchen door, which was also locked. Taken was $200 U.S.C. from a wallet and another $45 U.S.C. from a purse. A key to the residence is reported to be missing from the garage. The victims recently had major work completed on their home by a contractor.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE – Black Rock Rd and the Delaware Canal Path, reported at 11:42AM. Victim reported having a purse taken from the vehicle after returning from using the Canal path. This occurred between 10:20 and 11:30AM. Entry was made by the smashed-out driver’s side window.


8/8/19

THEFT FROM VEHICLE – Black Rock Rd and the Delaware Canal Path, reported at 1:01PM. Victim reported having a purse taken from the vehicle after returning from using the Canal path. This occurred between 12:00 and 12:50PM. Entry was made by smashing out a rear passenger window.


FRAUD – 1000 block Drew Dr, reported at 5:00PM. Complainant reported someone opened a Verizon account with their personal information. The complainant received a bill in the amount of $231.03 and Verizon is aware.

FRAUD / IDENTITY THEFT – 1600 block Hunters Ct, reported at 12:37PM. Complainant reported that someone opened a Verizon account using their information, after receiving a bill for $2,000.

 

FRAUD / IDENTITY THEFT – Unit block Wilfred Dr reported at 7:26PM. Complainant reported that a credit card account was opened using their information. a purchase for $1,200 was made in Virginia thru the website Wayfair.


8/5/19

 

THEFT – 900 block Princess Dr, reported at 2:11PM. Complainant reported hiring a moving company and there are valuables, such as electronics and tools missing. The value of the items missing is estimated at about $2,500 to $3,000.


8/3/19

 

ARREST – (DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE) – 800 block Big Oak Rd at 3:28AM. Police on patrol observed a vehicle being driven on a flat tire and disregarding a traffic control device. Police initiated a stop on the vehicle and further investigation revealed that the 60-year-old female operator was under the influence


8/1/19

 

VEHICLE THEFT – 100 block Taylorsville Rd, reported at 10:18AM. Complainant reported that sometime during the overnight hours someone entered a locked garage and removed two motorbikes. A 2012 Honda CRF250 and a 2017 Yamaha YZ215 with a combined value of $8,300 were taken.

 

FRAUD – Unit block Upper Hilltop Rd, reported at 10:33AM. The victim reported being defrauded out of $8,900 after receiving a letter in the mail from Publisher’s Clearing House that said she had won $600,000. The letter stated that the victim had to contact a person listed in the letter, she was told she had to pay the taxes on the prize money, before she could receive it. The victim sent two checks to an address in Florida.

 

FRAUD – 500 block Aspen Woods Dr, reported at 6:00PM. The complainant reported being notified by the IRS that someone else filed a 2018 tax return using the complainant’s information. This incident is currently being investigated by the IRS.


7/31/19

 

THEFT – 700 block Briarwood Ct, reported at 10:51AM. Complainant reported that sometime after 5:00PM on 7/30/19, someone took his American flag valued at $20 that was attached to the residence garage.

 

THEFT – 100 block Glen Valley Rd, reported at 1:30PM. Complainant reported that about $750 cash is missing from the residence since about 7/22/19. Also, a key to the garage is also missing. The complainant recently had contractors performing work at the residence.

 

ARREST – TERRORISTIC THREATS – Stony Hill Rd and Fox Hollow Dr at 3:35PM. Police responded to a road rage incident. After further investigation a 49-year-old male from Langhorne, PA was taken into police custody. He was charged with Terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment. He is also damaged the complainant’s vehicle during the incident.

 


7/30/19

 

RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block Big Oak Rd at Kohl’s department store at 3:46PM. Store loss prevention observed a 29-year-old female from Richboro, PA on the store’s camera system enter the facility without any merchandise. The defendant than selected $186.00 worth of merchandise and went to the return counter and had the items exchanged for cash. Based on the information received and through investigation, a warrant will be issued for the defendant’s arrest.


7/29/19

 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block Arborlea Ave at 12:13AM. Police were originally notified of a burglary in progress at the residence. Upon arrival by police, further investigation revealed that someone broke out a small window adjacent to the front entry door. Entry to the home was not made. The window costs about $50.


7/28/19

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1600 block Lakeview Cir, reported at 11:47PM. The homeowner reported that entry was made to the residence through a side window, it was broken out. At the time of the report, costume jewelry is missing with a value of about $1,500.

 

ARREST (Driving Under the Influence) & AUTO ACCIDENT – 1300 block Newtown-Yardley Rd at 1:19AM. Police responded to a single vehicle auto accident, the vehicle struck a PECO pole and caused property damage to a resident’s fence and lawn. Further investigation revealed that the 49-year-old male driver from Yardley, PA was under the influence. He was taken into police custody and processed.

 

ARREST (Driving Under the Influence) – SR-332 and Stony Hill Rd at 1:30AM. While police were actively investigating an accident, a 35-year-old female driver from Bristol, PA disregarded a police vehicle that was blocking the scene, driving around it and then drove onto the opposite lanes of travel. Police were able to get the vehicle stopped and further investigation revealed that the female operator was under the influence. She was taken into custody and processed. 


7/27/19

 

ARREST (Driving Under the Influence) & AUTO ACCIDENT - SR-332 and Stony Hill Rd at 3:21PM. Police responded to a two-vehicle accident. Further investigation revealed that one of the driver’s, a 58-year-old male from Langhorne, PA was under the influence. He was taken into police custody and processed.

 

ARREST (Driving Under the Influence) – Taylorsville Rd and Woodside Rd at 12:08AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for traffic offenses. Further investigation revealed that the 38-year-old male driver from Yardley, PA was under the influence. He was taken into custody and processed.
