RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 3:57PM. Loss Prevention reported on 1/16, an unknown male and female entered the store and removed $604.33 worth of merchandise without paying.

DRUG ARREST – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. reported at 12:10AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana. The 18 year old male driver from Langhorne, PA was taken into police custody.

DUI ARREST – Unit block of Oxford Valley Rd. at Shell reported at 3:14PM. Police responded to the request of a check the wellbeing of an individual. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 64 year old male from LMT for Driving Under the Influence.

COUNTERFEITING – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 8:52PM. Loss Prevention reported two unknown males attempted to make purchases using counterfeit $100 bills.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 1200 block of Lindenhurst Rd. reported at 10:38AM. Complainant reported unauthorized use of the credit card in the amount of $2,500.00.

THEFTS:

900 block of Reading Ave. at St. Ignatius reported at 8:27AM. Complainant reported theft of money from a cash box.

1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Norman’s Hallmark Shop reported at 4:45PM. Complainant reported theft of two wallets from a locked office.

THEFTS:

100 block of Barbara Dr. reported at 8:06AM. Complainant reported theft of merchandise from a package left on the doorstep.

1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 11:40AM. Loss Prevention reported theft of a U-Boat cart and other metal store equipment.

RETAIL THEFTS:

1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 2:42PM. Loss Prevention reported theft in progress. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 24 year old female, a 53 year old female and a 29 year old female from Trenton, NJ for taking approximately $1,066.00 worth of merchandise without paying.

1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 11:40AM. Loss Prevention reported an unknown male and female entered the store and removed $112.32 worth of merchandise without paying. Further investigation also revealed they also removed merchandise from Kohl’s without paying. Investigation ongoing.

IDENTITY THEFT – 1500 block of Silo Rd. reported at 11:26AM. Complainant reported providing social security number to unknown person reporting their account was compromised before realizing it was a scam.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD – Unit block of Highland Dr. reported at 2:14PM. Complainant reported unauthorized use of credit card in the amount of $130.16.

FRAUD – 200 block of S. Fieldstone Ct. reported at 10:38AM. Complainant reported being contacted by someone identifying themselves as an Apple employee and stated their account was compromised. He provided the caller with $5,000.00 worth of Google Play cards before realizing this was a scam.

1600 block of Delaware Rim Dr. reported at 12:58PM. Complainant reported theft of mail from mailbox.

RETAIL THEFT – 700 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Giant Food Store reported at 5:34PM. Loss Prevention reported theft of crab legs and steak valued at $179.19 by an unknown male and female.

RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 1:40PM. Loss Prevention reported an unknown female entered the store on 12/12 and 12/14 and removed $102.42 worth of merchandise without paying.

1/6/2019

WANTED PERSON – 1600 block of Edgewood Rd. at Veteran’s Memorial Park reported at 12:53AM. An unknown male was found sleeping in a portable toilet at the location. Further investigation revealed the male was wanted out of Westmoreland County. The 40 year old male from Jeannette, PA was taken into police custody.


THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 200 block of Elbow Ln. reported at 9:23PM. Complainant reported theft of change from unlocked vehicle.

RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 8:20PM. Loss Prevention reported theft of $445.19 worth of merchandise on 1/2 by unknown male and theft of $1,066.00 worth of merchandise on 1/3 by unknown females.

BURGLARY – 1000 block of Edgewood Rd. reported at 10:55AM. Complainant reported theft of copper piping from the unoccupied residence. No forced entry and nothing else reported missing at this time.

1/1/2019

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 1400 block of Woodview Rd. reported at 5:47AM. Complainant reported an unknown, partially undressed male was banging on and kicking the door and yelling through the windows. The 18 year old male from Levittown, PA was taken into police custody and cited for Public Drunkenness, Underage Drinking, and Disorderly Conduct.

BURGLARY – 700 block of Chestnut Ln. reported at 5:20PM. Complainant reported burglary while away on vacation. No forced entry. Only jewelry was taken.

FRAUD – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Santander Bank reported at 11:04AM. Fraud Investigator reported a customer deposited $13,000.00 in worthless checks and withdrew same on 8/27 & 8/28.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 5:06PM. Store employee reported a male previously banned from the store was on scene. He was gone upon police arrival.

BURGLARY – 500 block of Hearthstone Dr. reported at 8:29PM. Complainant reported unknown person(s) forced entry via a rear window and removed an Amazon Alexa and jewelry.

ACCIDENT & DUI ARREST – 1100 block of Roelofs Rd. reported at 2:03AM. Police responded to the report of a two vehicle accident at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old male driver from LMT for Driving Under the Influence.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD – 200 block of Sebastian Way reported at 9:00AM. Complainant reported unauthorized use of the credit card in the amount of $4,923.98.

BURGLARY – 700 block of Sumter Dr. reported at 4:59PM. Complainant reported sometime on 12/24, unknown person(s) forced entry into the residence via a side window and removed a laptop and jewelry.

THEFT – 600 block of Floral Vale Blvd. reported at 3:39PM. Complainant reported theft of two wallets from separate offices.

IDENTITY THEFT:

800 block of Roelofs Rd. reported at 11:09AM. Complainant reported unknown person used their social security number to make over $8,000.00 in fraudulent charges at Best Buy and attempted to open two credit cards in their name.

100 block of Pine Ln. reported at 12:30PM. Complainant reported discovering two fraudulent loans in their name.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 2000 block of Silverwood Dr. reported at 11:55PM. Complainant reported unknown person knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell, then make entry via an unlocked rear door. When police searched the residence, the male was found sleeping on the couch. The 20 year old male from LMT to be cited for Public Drunkenness and Underage Drinking.

FRAUD – Unit block of Pennsbury Ct. reported at 9:07AM. Complainant reported an unknown male claiming to be from Amazon accessed her computer remotely, installed malware then attempted to collect $600.00 to fix the computer.

FRAUD – 500 block of Freedom Dr. reported at 12:54PM. Complainant reported a student loan was opened in their name without their approval.

ATTEMPTED THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE – 800 block of Roelofs Rd. reported at 7:28AM. Complainant reported warming cars up in the driveway and upon going outside to check on them, he observed an unknown black female in his vehicle which was reportedly moved 15 feet from where it was originally parked. When confronting the subject, she fled in another car being operated by an unknown black male. The complainant’s vehicle was disabled.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE – 1800 block of Makefield Rd. reported at 7:30AM. Complainant reported warming car up in the driveway and when he returned, the 2009 Mercury Mariner was missing. While BCR was putting out the call, police in the area observed the vehicle drive by them. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle which fled police at a high rate of speed. The pursuit ended in Trenton, NJ after the vehicle was damaged and ran into traffic. Trenton police took the 22 year old female from Trenton, NJ into custody. A warrant was issued by LMT Police for Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing and Eluding, and related charges.

SOLICITORS – Riverdale Rd. & Manor Ln. reported at 1:26PM. Complainant reported solicitors without permits in the area for Greenstar Exteriors. They were located and advised to cease soliciting until permits were obtained.

IDENTITY THEFT – 1300 block of Bradford Rd. reported at 11:55AM. Complainant reported unknown person(s) fraudulently using their credit cards and opening accounts in their name.
