Lower Makefield Narcotics Officers Arrest Cocaine Dealer
Lower Makefield Police received information in early December 2016 that a male was selling cocaine from his residence. LMT Narcotics officers along with the Detective Division conducted extensive surveillance of the residence. Undercover officers made two controlled purchases of cocaine from this male in January 2017.
On January 18, 2017, officers arrested STEVE ARIAS, JR., a 23-year-old white male of the 600 block of Stony Hill Road Yardley, PA 19067.
Police executed search and seizure warrants on his residence and vehicles. At the time of his arrest, Arias was in possession of pre-recorded buy money and the cell phone that was used to arrange the controlled purchases of cocaine. During this investigation, a total of eleven (11) grams of cocaine was seized from Arias and his residence. A Lower Makefield K-9 officer deployed his drug detection dog named Recon. Recon discovered 2 grams of cocaine in the car door.
Arias was selling drugs in Lower Makefield for about 7 months.
Steve Arias was charged with Possession With Intent To Deliver Cocaine (F), Dealing In Proceeds From Unlawful Activities (F1), Criminal Use Of A Communication Facility (F3), Possession of Cocaine (M), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). He was arraigned by Magisterial District Michael Burns and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $25K (10%) bail.
