Hilltown Township has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY, beginning Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at 10:00 AM, until Sunday, March 13th, 2022 at 12:00 PM (noon).  

Snow Emergency Ordinance #2016-004, prohibits parking on snow emergency routes during the declared emergency, as well as specific restrictions.

• A snow emergency is a declaration made by the Hilltown Township Manager.  It is declared in order to facilitate the movement of traffic and combat the hazards of snow and ice on the snow emergency routes named in Ordinance #2016-004

A reminder to all our ATV/Snowmobile enthusiasts, they may only be operated on the roadways during a declared emergency AND for assisting in an actual emergency, not for recreational use.  Even when they are assisting in an actual emergency they must obey all traffic regulations.
