Press Release - July 3rd.. 2019

DUI Arrest: On June 8, 2019 at 2:26 am, Hilltown Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing a traffic violation. The operator displayed signs of alcohol related impairment. The driver refused to submit to a blood test.  Charged: Timir R. Webster, 29, of the 100 block of Abbey Lane Telford, PA.  Charges: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.  

DUI Arrest: On June 9, 2019 at 8:07 pm, Hilltown Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on Main Street in Silverdale Borough. The operator displayed signs of alcohol related impairment.  Charged: Brain Hillard, 32, of the 100 block of E. Main Street Silverdale, PA.  Charges: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.              

DUI Arrest: On June 12th, 2019 at 5:36 pm, Hilltown Police responded the Wawa located at 3520 Bethlehem Pike for the report of an erratic driver. Officers located the vehicle and found the driver to be highly intoxicated.  Charged: Abraham Gak, 38, of the 200 block of E. Paletown Road Quakertown, PA.  Charges: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.

Retail theft: On June 18, 2019 at 12:07 pm, Hilltown Police responded to the Giant Food Store located on Route 113 for the report of a retail theft. Arriving officers found that a female suspect had fled the store with over $600 worth of merchandise. After conducting a follow up investigation, police later identified the female suspect who was charged with the theft.  Charged: Anna Bello, 48, of the 600 block of Fairhill Road Hatfield, PA.  Charges: Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.

Drug Overdose: On June 28th, 2019 at 11:50 pm, Hilltown Police responded to the 400 block of E. Summit Street for the report of a drug overdose. Arriving officers found that the subject was not breathing and administered Narcan to counter the effects of the drug. The subject began breathing, awoke and refused further medical treatment or transportation to the hospital by ambulance. Police recovered suspected heroin at the scene.
