Drug Arrest - On November 19, 2019 at 8:55 pm, Hilltown Police investigated a suspicious vehicle in a township park on Telegraph Road when the park was closed. Officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle. Charged: Colby Hardcastle, 19, of the 2000 block of Portzer Road, Quakertown, PA. Charges: Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Simple Assault Arrest - On November 21, 2019 at 12:34 am, Hilltown Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of E. Summit Street. Investigating officers arrived to find a female assault victim. Police arrested a male suspect, who was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge John J. Kelly, Jr. The suspect was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of posting 10% of his $25,000 bail. Charged: Carl Miller, 500 block of E. Godfrey Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. Charges: Simple Assault and Harassment
Fatal Drug Overdose - On November 21, 2019 at 9:25 am, Hilltown Police responded to a residence in the 200 block of E. Summit Street for the report of a possible drug overdose of a 38-year old male resident. Responding officers administered Narcan and performed CPR, until Paramedics from Souderton Ambulance arrived and determined that the male was unable to be revived. Police were also assisted by the Bucks County Coroner’s Office. The death remains under investigation.
DUI Arrest - On November 22, 2019 at 9:34 pm, Hilltown Police stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation at the intersection of Hilltown Pike and Route 152. The driver displayed signs of alcohol related impairment and was arrested for DUI. Charged: Patrick Garis, 36, 300 block of Schwenksville Road, Schwenksville, PA. Charges: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Burglary Investigation - On December 2, 2019 at 7:52 am, Hilltown Police responded to business in the 4200 block of Bethlehem Pike, for a reported burglary that had occurred within the previous two days. Officers found forced entry and learned that property was stolen from within. The incident remains under investigation.
