At approximately 8:00 PM on January 1st 2020, Hilltown Police responded to the report of an assault in the 2000 Block of Hilltown Pike. The female victim stated that she was held against her will, physically beaten, and sexually assaulted, over the course of several hours. The victim was able to escape out of a window and flee to a neighboring home, to call 911. During the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspect as 48 year-old, Hilltown resident, Curtis Fish. Officers attempted to make contact with FISH, at his nearby residence. FISH refused to come out or surrender, barricading himself inside of the single-family home. The Central Bucks Special Response Team (CBSRT), crisis negotiators and officers from multiple jurisdictions responded to the scene. After an exhaustive 9-hour standoff, FISH was taken into custody by CBSRT members and turned over to Hilltown Township Police. FISH was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage. FISH was committed to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of posting 10% of his $850,000 bail. A preliminary hearing date is tentatively scheduled for February 4, 2020, in front of Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage, in New Britain.
