Arrested: Alexander Cwenar

On March 25, 2019; the Falls Township Police Department Detective Division executed a search warrant in the 800 block of Auburn Rd. and recovered 532 grams of marijuana, over $6,000.00 US currency, and additional items pertaining to the sales and possession of a controlled substance. 

Technical assistance was given by the Bensalem Police Department in executing a search warrant on Mr. Cwenar's phone.

On August 20, 2019; a criminal complaint, with a lead violation of  35 P.S. 780-113a30: Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, was filed at District Court 7-1-10. 

Mr. Cwenar was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. 

Arrest of juvenile for possession of a firearm:

On February. 21, 2019; the Falls Township Police Department Detective Division investigated the report of a social media posting which depicted a male subject, with an emoji posted over his face, possessing a firearm while making a music video. Due to the erratic emoji editing, the male was identified and determined to be a juvenile.

Investigation, to include search warrants and court orders, revealed that the juvenile had taken the legally owned firearm from a safe at a friend's house. The friend, who was also a juvenile, had since recovered the firearm and returned it to the safe.

The juvenile was charged with a violation of P.S. 6110.1a Possession of a firearm by a minor.

Attempted luring of a child: Unfounded

On August 13, 2019; the Falls Township Police Department Detective Division investigated the report of an attempted Luring a Child into a Vehicle at the FUNZILLA entertainment center. A citizen reported that a male subject said "Hey kid do you want to go to Skyzone? I have a van." to her minor aged child. Officers were immediately sent to the business to retrieve surveillance footage, a process which eventually took several days and multiple visits. 

Detectives were able to view surveillance footage of the specific event, but were unable to locate any interaction between the child and another person. 

The Falls Township Police Department would like to thank FUNZILLA for its assistance in this investigation, which included staying open after normal business hours, accessing the video surveillance system on their days off,  and providing access to their video surveillance footage over multiple days. 

Shooting on Anders Dr:

On August 14, 2019; the Falls Township Detective Division investigated the report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Anders Dr. The victim, Keith Schultz, was found suffering from a gun shot wound to his hand' which he said he received while riding his bicycle on Bristol Pike. 

Officers obtained a search warrant for the Schultz residence and recovered a bullet, casing, and firearms. Later, during an interview, Schultz admitted that the injury was accidentally self inflicted. 

Investigation determined that Schultz is a convicted felon.

After being released from the hospital, Mr. Schultz was charged with a lead violation of P.S. 6105a1: Person not to possess. He received a preliminary arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Gallagher and was released on his own recognizance.
