Doylestown Township Police along with New Britain Township Police are currently on Ferry Road with numerous disabled vehicles due to icy road conditions. Penndot is currently treating the road. Please avoid the area if possible.

On Monday, December 9, 2019 around 6:00 AM the Doylestown Township Police Department investigated six theft from vehicles in the parking lot of the Doylestown Pointe shopping center in front of Orange Theory.  Vehicle windows were broken and purses along with personal property were taken.  The unknown suspect fled in a newer model, silver Dodge Durango.  If anyone recognizes the vehicle or knows information to assist with the investigation, please contact the Doylestown Township Police Department at (215) 348-4201. 

Please use caution this morning as the roadways are becoming slick in areas due to the snowfall. The road crew will be out treating those areas so please allow extra travel time this morning.

On 12/10/19 at 1120 am, officers are out with a 4 vehicle traffic accident, northbound Easton Road at Almshouse Road in the right lane. Use caution. 

On 12/10/19 at approximately 740 hours Doylestown fire company and Doylestown Township Police department responded to a vehicle fire at the Neshaminy Manor parking lot.  Fire department is on scene to extinguish the fire. Please avoid this area. 

Police currently on scene of a traffic accident in the area of Easton Road at Edison Road. Please use caution in the area.

Attempt to locate owner:
Female dog about fifteen pounds found under a vehicle at Thompson BMW, 40 W Swamp Road. No collar or chip. Dog was taken to the Bucks County SPCA in Lahaska.

UPDATE:    Route 611 is open in both directions.  

The Doylestown Township Police are currently on scene investigating an accident on Route 611 and Almshouse Road.   There are numerous emergency vehicles in the area and southbound traffic is restricted to the left lane.  Please avoid the area.  
 

Doylestown Township Police are looking for a white older model GMC Suburban . This vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident on northbound Route 611 Bypass around 3:30 p.m. on 11/28/2019 The vehicle will have damage along the drivers side.
