Both north and south bound traffic is restricted to 1 lane of travel in each direction. Expect delays until vehicles can be removed from the roadway.

The Doylestown Township Police Department wanted to make residents aware of several calls we received this week regarding telephone scams. The one scam involves someone impersonating an employee with the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department and the other scam involves a “grandparent” being contacted about their grandchild being in an accident.

Officers from Warrington Township and Doylestown Township Police Departments are on scene at Bristol Road and Lower State Road with a two vehicle traffic accident. Bristol Road is closed between Lower State Road and Route 202. Please use an alternative route.

A men's black leather wallet was turned in to the police department this afternoon. It was found in the Chestnut Grove development. There was identification from the Dominican Republic and Switzerland inside but no information on the owner's local address. If you know the owner please have him contact the police department in order to confirm ownership and facilitate the return of the wallet.

The Doylestown Township Police Department is in possession of a set of keys, which were located on Buttonwood Lane on 02/22/23. The keys are easily identifiable, and the owner can arrange to pick the keys up by contacting the Department at (215) 348-4201.
