Over the past few weeks Doylestown Township like many of our neighbors have witnessed many changes to the way we live our every day lives. In light of the pandemic that has affected us globally and now at our local level we have elected to close our township offices effective March 20, 2020 at 4:30PM.

Although the offices will remain closed all essential services will remain in place including 24/7 police and emergency services. Anyone who is in need of immediate essential services in encouraged to contact the police department and we will assist with directing you to the appropriate department.

The township staff will continue to work closely with the Bucks County Department of Health and area Emergency Management services to provide up to date information.

I would also like to encourage all residents and businesses to voluntarily comply with all warnings related to social distancing and business closure. We all need to take our part in preventing further spread.

I would also be remiss if I did not recognize all of our police officer and other essential personnel who will continue to serve and protect our township during these difficult times.

Although the Doylestown Township Police Department Offices have closed we will continue to provide 24/7 police services. Non-emergency calls can be directed through the Bucks County Department of Communications by calling (215) 348-4200. For Emergency calls you should dial 9-1-1 as usual.

Please stay safe and rest assure we will prevail;

Dean Logan
Chief of Police
