POLICE BLOTTER

3/17/2019 – DUI – New Britain Borough – Jonathan Self, 49, Chalfont, was arrested at approximately 1843 hours when officers were dispatched to a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection of E. Butler Avenue and Iron Hill Road. Upon contact being made with Self, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol, slurred speech and severely bloodshot and glassy eyes.  Self subsequently failed a field sobriety test and was transported to Doylestown Hospital for a blood draw.

3/17/2019 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Doylestown Borough – Brandon Tashian, 22, Chalfont, was cited when at approximately 0115 hours officers observed him in the area of Chambers 19 engaged in a fist fight, throwing a punch and striking another person.

3/17/2019 – DUI – New Britain Borough – Michael Petrillo, 32, Doylestown, was arrested at approximately 0157 when an officer monitoring traffic at the intersection of E. Butler Avenue and Barrie Circle observed Petrillo driving at a high rate of speed and driving on the double yellow line for a distance. Petrillo was pulled over and upon contact the officer immediately detected a strong aroma of alcohol, subsequently failing a field sobriety test. He was transported to Doylestown Hospital for a blood draw.

3/17/2019 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT – PUBLIC URINATION - Doylestown Borough – All of the following individuals were cited when officers observed them publicly urinating: Brendon Poff, 24, Richboro, at approximately 0032 in Printer’s Alley; Daniel Corbitt 3rd, 22, Doylestown at approximately 0006 hours in the alleyway alongside Chambers 19; Eric Selkow, 30, Telford, at approximately 0010 hours in the alleyway alongside Chambers 19; Damian Morris, 35, Ambler, at approximately 2250 hours onto the back of a vehicle near County Theater; Robert Heck, 21, Willow Grove, at approximately 0153 hours in an alleyway.

3/17/2019 – ALL OTHER ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS - Doylestown Borough – Justin Schreiber, 21, Warrington, was cited at approximately 0154 hours for possession of an open container of alcohol in the vicinity of 29 S. Main Street.

3/16/2019 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Doylestown Borough – Matthew Green, 27, Warminster, at approximately 0034 hours police were dispatched to Steak & Hoagie Factory for a report of a customer causing a disturbance. Three employees were able to identify the suspect standing further down the street. Officers made contact, later issuing the citation.

3/15/2019 – DUI – Chalfont Borough – Stanley Kafel, 37, Doylestown, was arrested when an officer monitoring traffic at approximately 2250 hours, at the intersections of Butler Avenue and Bristol Road observed Kafel’s vehicle turning onto Bristol Road and swerve off the road onto the grass multiple times. The officer followed the vehicle, eventually pulling him over, and upon contact was immediately able to detect a strong aroma of an alcohol. Kafel failed a field sobriety test and was transported to Doylestown Hospital for a blood draw.

3/5/2019 – LIQUOR LAW – UNDERAGE – Doylestown Borough - three juveniles were cited when officers were dispatched to Central Bucks West High School at approximately 1420 hours for a report of students drinking alcohol.

3/3/2019 – PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – Doylestown Borough – Vincenzo Scaduto, 50, Doylestown, was cited when at approximately 0150 hours an officer observed him lying on the sidewalk along E. State Street. Upon contact the officer roused Scaduto, who struggled to stand still, had a very strong smell of alcohol coming from his person and his eyes were bloodshot.

3/2/2019 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Doylestown Borough – Jennifer Engelmann, 24, Perkasie, was cited when an officer was flagged down at approximately 2355 hours to stop at Chambers 19 for a female refusing to leave the establishment.  She was found to be visibly intoxicated with a strong smell of alcohol on her breath and slurred speech. Engelmann was also charged with Simple Assault and Harassment.
