POLICE BLOTTER

1/21/2019 – HARASSMENT – New Britain Borough – Marquis Ellis, 23, Ownings Mills, MD; Roney Lu, 22, Doylestown, were both cited when officers were called to Delaware Valley University at approximately 1017 hours for a physical altercation.

1/20/2019 - DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – Doylestown Borough – Julia Ripley 62, Doylestown, was arrested when at approximately 1945 hours, she was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped, the driver failed a field sobriety test and at that time Ripley stated she’d been drinking and would walk home. She exited the vehicle and was seen walking away but then was observed by an officer attempting to drive the vehicle, was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test.

1/12/2019 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTOMOBILES (CM) and PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS (PD) – Doylestown Borough – Joseph Saverio Di Tommaso, 26, Hatboro (CM, PD); Jared Dalton Kleintz, 24, Maple Glen (PD) were both cited when at approximately 0222 hours an officer observed them yelling at a vehicle on S. Main Street, then saw Di Tommaso proceeding to repeatedly kick it, causing damage. Upon contact with the defendants the officer was immediately able to discern they were intoxicated to such a degree that they couldn’t be engaged in meaningful conversation, were emanating an overwhelming odor of alcohol, had glassy eyes, slurred speech and significantly hindered coordination abilities.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
