ARRESTS

Public Drunkenness Arrest, July 2, 2021, 460 N. Main Street (Doylestown Shopping Center), Doylestown Borough – Thomas S. Brennan, M/78, of New Hope, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police responded for a well-being check of a male who was stumbling through the parking lot, fell and injured himself. Brennan presented with bloodshot and glassy eyes and admittedly was under the influence of alcohol. Central Bucks EMS transported Brennan for medical attention. A Citation has been filed.

DUI Arrest, July 2, 2021, 425 S. Main Street (Wawa), Doylestown Borough – Aaron Thomas Dietterich, M/22, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police observed Deitterich park his vehicle, exit using the door for support and exhibited a staggered gait stumbling while walking. In his vehicle, in plain view, was a “bowl” containing what appeared to be marijuana. Dietterich as transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Drug Violation Arrest, July 2, 2021, Matthews Avenue, (Wilma Quinlan Nature Preserve) New Britain Borough – Brian Brumbaugh, M/53, of Hatboro, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at Wilma Quinlan Nature Preserve. Both driver and passenger had suspended drivers’ licenses and suspended vehicle registration. Controlled substances were suspected upon K9 deployment, driver consent to search obtained and controlled substances found. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Underage Drinking Arrests, July 3, 2021, Skyline Drive, Chalfont Borough – Olivia Morgan Delosreyes, F/18, of Chalfont, PA; Emma Montemurro, F/19, of Chalfont, PA (additional charge of Furnishing Alcohol to Minors); and, Ava Josephine Paxson, F/19, of Elkins Park, PA, were arrested for the above offense following officers being dispatched for a noise compliant. The above persons were found in the back yard consuming alcohol, with one individual unconscious at the rear of the property. EMS responded for medical assistance. Citations have been filed.

False Identification Arrest, July 3, 2021, 19 N. Main Street (Chambers), Doylestown Borough – A 17/F, of Jamison, PA, was charged with the above offense after officers responded to the liquor establishment to collect a false ID that the juvenile tried to use and left behind. Follow up investigation and interview led to the juvenile confessing to purchase/possession of the false ID.  A Citation has been filed.

False Report Arrest, July 4, 2021, 1 N. Main Street, Doylestown, Borough – Audrey Marishka Rael, F/20, of Creskill, NJ, was arrested for the above offense and additional charges of Disorderly Conduct, Purchase of Alcohol by minor, and False Identification. While on foot patrol, Officer observed Rael getting sick on the street and conducted a well-being check. Rael presented with an odor of alcohol and the officer collected her identification which later turned out to be a false ID. During this time another incident was unfolding nearby which the officer responded too. Upon the officer’s return, Rael was found inside of Chambers Bar. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Access Device Fraud, Identity Theft, Theft by Deception Arrest, July 6, 2021 – Thomas J. Parker, M/32, of Croydon, PA, was taken into custody on probation violations and then served the active arrest warrant from CBPRD. Arrest stems from an incident in March 2021. Victim reported seven fraudulent debit card charges totaling $2,000.00. Through investigation, it was confirmed that Parker knows the victim and used the debit card at a casino in Atlantic City in March 2021. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest, July 11, 2021, 37 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Brian Wojtko, M/27, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested for the above offense when police observed Wojtko yelling profanities and banging his head on the front window of a restaurant.  A Citation has been filed.

Criminal Mischief Arrest, July 14, 2021, 555 N. Broad Street (Center Square Towers), Doylestown Borough – Robert Andrew Gallagher, M/30, Doylestown, PA, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for the above offense.  Arrest stems from an incident in May 2021.  Gallagher entered Center Square Towers, used a screwdriver and hammer on a vending machine causing damages in the amount of $2,950 in damages. Gallagher was arraigned, bail set at $25,000/10% and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DUI Arrest, July 15, 2021, 400 block of Swamp Road, Doylestown Borough – Jacqueline Nicole Eckert, F/21, of New Hope, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police investigated a vehicle that was in the parking lot and proceeding to drive without lights and something dragging on the vehicle. Eckert presented with extremely slow motor/speech skills and glassy/bloodshot eyes. As the officer spoke with Eckert, the vehicle rolled forward and she had to be instructed to place the vehicle in park. Eckert was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, July 17, 2021, 19 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Lenard Mark Weinstein, M/22, of Jamison, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police observed Weinstein getting sick on the sidewalk. Weinstein presented with bloodshot, glassy eyes and strong odor of alcohol. A Citation has been filed.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, July 17, 2021, 19 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Sofiane Bensmail, M/23, of Lansdale, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police broke up a physical altercation. Officer who observed the start of the altercation identified Bensmail started the fight by engaging with the others. A Citation has been filed.

Assault/Strangulation Arrest, July 22, 2021, 100 block N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - Kevin John Forman, M/57, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for Assault/Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment after officers responded to an abandoned 911 call from a residence on the 100 block of N. Main Street. A verbal altercation became physical when Forman held the victim against the wall by the throat causing the victim to pass out. Forman then proceeded to kick and drag the victim around the room. Forman was arraigned, bail set $40,000/10% and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Criminal Trespass Arrest, July 23, 2021, 400 block of East Street, Doylestown Borough – Joseph Placid Harrison, M/57, Doylestown, PA, was arrest for Criminal Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness after police were notified that he was loitering around a TV production involving teenagers and would not vacate the premises after being asked to leave several times. Harrison became verbally and actively combative when police arrived and was taken into custody. Harrison was arraigned, bail set at 10% of $75,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison.
Public Drunkenness Arrest, July 25, 2021, 22 S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – John Tahaney, M/23, Shenandoah PA and Matthew Marko, M/24, Doylestown PA, were arrested for the above offense after police found them sleeping at an outdoor table. Police woke the men and they noticed that both men presented with slurred speech along with a strong odor of alcohol.  The men refused EMS services. Citations were filed.

PFA Violation Arrest, July 27, 2021 – Michael John Morongell, M/46, of Doylestown, PA was arrested for violation of a Protection from Abuse order. Morongell was arraigned, bail set at $25,000/10% and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Public Drunkenness Arrest, July 28, 2021. 19 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – Anna Bonacci, F/29, Doylestown PA, was arrested for the above offense after police witnessed her rolling around in the middle of the street. Bonacci presented with slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.  A Citation has been filed.

Assault Arrest, July 30, 2021, Evergreen Drive, New Britain Borough – Ricky Dones, M/52, New Britain PA, was arrested for Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats and Harassment after officers responded to a physical domestic disturbance in progress.  Dones escalated a verbal altercation with terroristic threats and caused physical harm to the victim. Dones was arraigned, remanded to Bucks County Prison, and bail was set at 10% of $15,000.

DUI Arrest, July 31, 2021, N. Hamilton Street, Doylestown Borough – Amanda Smith, F/36, Doylestown PA, was arrest on the above charge after police observed her vehicle driving the wrong way on a one-way street.  Smith presented with glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.  Smith was transported to Doylestown Hospital for a legal blood draw. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Criminal Mischief to Business, July 1, 2021, 138 W. State Street (Nat’s Pizza), Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) defaced the front of the business with graffiti.

Criminal Mischief to Residence, July 6, 2021, 100 block of Bridgewater Court, Chalfont Borough – Unknown person(s) egged a residence on several areas of the home.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, July 7, 2021, 100 block of Moyer Road, Chalfont Borough – Unknown person(s) egged a pickup truck.

Theft, July 9, 2021, 200 block Hemlock Drive, New Britain Borough – Unknown person(s) stole a men’s Seiko Mach 5 watch with silver band and blue clock face from the residence, valued at $110.

Retail Theft, July 9, 2021, 132 Veterans Drive (Wine & Spirits Shoppe), Doylestown Borough – Unknown male stole a bottle of Vodka by placing the bottle in his pocket and leaving the store without paying for it.

Motor Vehicle Theft, July 16, 2021, 100 W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole a 2007 Hyundai Sante Fe from the parking lot of a restaurant.

Theft from Vehicle, July 19, 2021, 500 block of Broad Street, Doylestown Borough – The vehicle owner stated that the catalytic converter was stolen.

Criminal Mischief to Vehicle, July 24, 2021, 500 block of Broad Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) keyed a vehicle.

Theft, July 24, 2021, 21 E. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole a balloon from the front of the business.

Theft from Residence, July 27, 2021, Marion Circle, Chalfont Borough – Homeowner reported items missing after hiring a cleaning service for the home.

Motor Vehicle Theft, July 28, 2021, 100 block W. Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Unknown person(s) stole a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado from in front of a residence.
