ARRESTS
Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct Arrest – July 12, 2020, 4:44 AM, 100 block of Harvey Avenue, Doylestown Borough – Elisa M. Last, F/26, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offenses after police responded to a physical altercation involving Last and another female. Last presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage. An ambulance was called to treat Last at which time she became combative and resisted arrest. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended Arrest – July 19, 2020, 7:46 PM, N. Main Street and Veterans Lane, Doylestown Borough – Jay Brian Cosner, M/50, of New Hope, PA, was arrested for the above offenses and other charges after police conducted a traffic stop for expired registration. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Public Drunkenness Arrest – July 23, 2020, 9:24 AM, 100 block of W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – Manuel Carrillo-Coj, M/24, no fixed abode, was arrested for the above offense after police responded to Planet Smoothie for a well-being check. Carillo-Coj was passed out and presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage. Central Bucks EMS responded to provide medical assistance. A Citation has been filed.
Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property Arrest – July 23, 2020, New Britain Borough - William Vogt, M/54, of Huntingdon Valley, PA, was detained on an Arrest Warrant for thefts of gas cans and fuel taken from a New Britain Borough resident’s truck on several dates during 2017. Vogt was also detained on other outstanding warrants from area Departments and remanded to Bucks County Prison.
DUI Arrest – July 25, 2020, 9:30 PM, E. State Street and Route 202, Doylestown Borough – Vail Garvin Unterberger, F/77, of Washington Crossing, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police conducted a traffic stop for operating with only fog lights. Unterberger presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage. Field sobriety tests were administered followed by blood draw at Doylestown Hospital. A Criminal Complaint has been filed.
Terroristic Threats – July 31, 2020, Chalfont Borough – Andrew James Smith, M/19, of Chalfont, was charged with the above offense following investigation into threats made on social media. Investigation was in conjunction with the Bucks County Detectives. Smith was arraigned, bail set at 10% of $200,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison.
Public Drunkenness Arrest – July 31, 2020, 11:17 PM, 495 East Street (7-11), Doylestown Borough – Joseph Placid Harrison, M/57, of Doylestown, PA, was arrested for the above offense after police responded for a well-being check of male laying in the parking lot yelling for an ambulance. Upon arrival, Harrison was upright, staggering and presented with an odor of alcohol. Central Bucks EMS responded to provide medical treatment. A Citation has been filed.
Forgery, Criminal Conspiracy Arrest – August 3, 2020 – New Britain Borough - Angel L. Ramos, M/44 of Philadelphia, PA, turned himself in on an active Arrest Warrant for his involvement in fraudulent bank activity on victim’s bank account including 17 ATM withdrawals totaling $6,649.83 from 9/6/18 through 10/30/18 and two bad checks totaling $2,100. Debit card and checks were obtained from the victim’s vehicle after the victim allowed an acquaintance to use the vehicle. When the vehicle was not returned, it was reported stolen and subsequently in a hit and run accident in Philadelphia. Angel Ramos was arraigned and released on $25,000 bail. Identified female and Sor Ramos, M/51, both of Philadelphia, have active Arrest Warrants for their involvement.
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
CRIME AND INCIDENTS
Criminal Mischief – July 16, 2020, 5:32 PM, 191 S. Clinton Street (Laundry Room), Doylestown Borough – Unknown white male kicked and slammed washing machines. Damage to machines are estimated at $550. Any person knowing the identity of the subject should call Central Bucks Regional Police at 215-345-4143.
Hit and Run – July 25, 2020, 5:07 PM – Hamilton Street, Doylestown Borough – Unknown driver of black Acura (partial PA Reg YRC) hit the rear tire of a bicyclist. Driver is described as a white male, approximately 19 years old with passenger described as white female, 16-19 yrs old, with pink hair. Any person knowing the identity of the driver or owner of the vehicle should call Central Bucks Regional Police at 215-345-4143.
