Police investigated a robbery incident that took place on March 9, 2018 at approximately 2230 hours at a residence on E. State Street in Doylestown Borough between known subjects. Sweeney was, at first, welcomed into the residence. After some time passed, he pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money ($4,000 cash); upon leaving the residence, Sweeney pointed the gun at the victim again and threatened to kill the victim if the incident was reported. After several weeks, Sweeney again threatened the victim. Sweeney was arrested on 9/28/18 after being released from a probation detainer. He was arraigned, bail set at $250,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison. Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
