A homeowner on Brandon Way called the Buckingham Police on November 20, 2018 to report a completed burglary. There was no damage to the home and entry did not appear to be forced. Light ransacking was observed and several items were found to be missing. A large amount of currency was taken along with jewelry and silver flatware. Detectives and Patrol Officers investigated this crime together pursuing many leads. During the investigation it was found that the family had hired a handyman to do some home improvements. The investigation led to Patrick Schull. Schull had a warrant for similar thefts in Solebury Township. Police arrested Schull for the theft from Solebury and he admitted to selling jewelry from Brandon Way. Search warrants were served on Schull's home and the truck he had been driving. Some items were recovered that are believed to be from other thefts.
If anyone has any information on stolen property they are urged to contact the Buckingham Police Department. 215 794-8812
