Pedestrian Struck on Bristol Pike

SUBJECT:   Pedestrian Crash

On Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 5:59 AM, Bristol Township Police responded to a report of a crash involving one vehicle and a pedestrian in the northbound lanes of the 6300 block of Bristol Pike (RT 13).

The preliminary investigation shows that the pedestrian was crossing Bristol Pike (RT 13) from the southbound side to the northbound side, in an area that does not have a pedestrian crossing.  The pedestrian was struck by a gold Chevy Equinox which was traveling in northbound lanes of Bristol Pike.

The victim was critically injured and was transported from the scene by Bucks County Rescue Squad to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital for treatment. 

The victim is a fifty (50) year old male from New Jersey.  The driver of the vehicle is a thirty-five (35) year old female from Bensalem, PA.  The driver did stop at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. 

Police were assisted at the scene by the Bristol Township Fire Police.
