On Monday, May 14, 2018 at 8:16 PM, a pickup truck struck a full size tricycle at the intersection of
State Road & Emily Avenue in Croydon, PA. The pickup truck left the scene of the accident without stopping or rendering aid to the cyclist.

The adult male on the full size tricycle sustained head injuries and was transported via rescue squad to Jefferson-Torresdale Trauma Center. He has been identified as John Sabatini, 32 YOA, of Croydon, PA. Mr. Sabatini is listed in critical condition.
Mr. Sabatini was travelling south on State Road approaching Emily Avenue when he was stuck by a pickup truck travelling in the same direction on State Road.
The pickup truck involved in the hit & run crash is described as a full size red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. The description is based on home surveillance video of the incident, pieces of the headlamp and mirror left behind by the striking vehicle, a magnet key holder broken apart and a black Dodge key (found in the street).
The police department is requesting the help of the community to identify the red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup and the operator of the vehicle.
