St. Mark school DARE Graduation

Students from St. Marks Catholic School graduated form the Bristol Borough Police Department's DARE program.  The program was conducted with the schools sixth grade class by Sgt. Carlos Rivera.  A graduation ceremony was held at the school, which included remarks from Mayor Joseph Saxton , Judge Frank Paranteau Sr. and Chief Henry.  As part of the program, students participated in a essay writing competition, discussing the dangers of drugs and the consequences of poor choices.  Although a difficult decision, Sophia Callan was declared the winner of the essay contest.  The Bristol Borough PBA and the Grundy Foundation provided gift bags to the graduating class.
