In recognition of Martin Luther King Day of Service, members of the Calvary Baptist Church along with students from the Bristol Borough High School, St. Mark's School, Harriman U.M. and Cairns University participated in the "Souper Bowl of Caring." Volunteers distributed bags and flyers to residents in hopes that they will be filled with non-perishable goods. The bags will be collected on February 4th, Super Bowl Sunday, beginning at 9:30 am. Collected items will be distributed to area food banks. Further information about the program can be found at (https://souperbowl.org ) . Mayor Saxton, retired Chief Porter, Chief Henry and family members supported the effort.
