Bristol Borough Police Officers visit Summer Camp

Nye-Ray Burks models a protective Ballistic Helmet during a recent visit by members of the Bristol Borough Police Department to the Bristol Borough Summer Stream Camp.  The no cost summer camp program, which is held at the Snyder-Girotti Elementary School is part of the Bristol Borough 21st Century Camp program.  Officers interacted with the 100 plus children that attended the camp.  The children were shown police vehicles and equipment and were also introduced to Kilo, the departments K9.  The visit culminated with the children being treated to Ice Pops.  This is part of the department's ongoing effort to promote interaction between police and residents in positive situations.
