On Saturday, December 8, 2018, at around 8:59a.m., Bristol Police were dispatched to investigate a robbery that occurred at knife-point in the Harriman Section of Bristol Borough. The suspect, later identified as Daniel Trappasse, age 30, of Bristol Borough, brandished a dagger like blade to the victim, a 49 year old male from Bristol and demanded money. The victim defended himself by retrieving a wooden 2x4 and striking the suspect. The suspect fled the scene but was apprehended by police on Bath Street in Bristol Borough.
Trappasse was sent to Bucks County Prison on an outstanding warrant and a detainer was placed by Bristol Police pending charges that were later filed.
