On Saturday, September 30th at approximately 10:00 p.m., Bristol Borough Police received a report of a subject attempting to enter a vehicle on West Circle. Upon meeting with the reporting party, officers were provided with an image of the subject caught on a surveillance camera. Police began to check the surrounding area for the subject.
Sergeant Alan Hankinson located a subject matching the subject on the surveillance video on Farragut Avenue.
The subject, Edward R. Martin, age 22, no fixed address given, was taken into custody. Martin was found to be in possession of other property taken from other vehicles.
Martin was charged with prowling at night time, theft and possession of stolen property. Martin was arraigned before the Honorable Jan Vislosky, District Magistrate and bail was set at $75,000.00. Martin was lodged in Bucks County Prison.
