There has been an escalation of unsupervised juveniles being disorderly and creating hazardous conditions at the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem. In order to curb these activities, Bensalem Police officers will be assigned to the Neshaminy Mall to assist mall security with any problems that arise.
The Bensalem Police Department is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies(CALEA), the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission and the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.
The Bensalem Township Police Department has to comply with 189 standards in order to maintain accredited status.
Bensalem Township Police have received numerous complaints about bicycle riders impeding traffic and causing issues on township roadways. The area of Springdale Drive and Wexford Road has been the hot spot for this type of activity.
We are committed to addressing these issues in a manner that thwarts this activity but also keeps our bicycle riders safe.
