OFFICERS GRADUATE POLICE ACADEMY TONIGHT - SWORN IN BY MAYOR DIGIROLAMO TODAY
Mayor DiGirolamo and Director McVey are excited to announce the swearing if of our 2 newest police officers, Sean Heefner and Kyle Tuthill. Officer Sean Heefner and Officer Kyle Tuthill both attended the Temple University Police Academy for the past 6 months. They will graduate from the academy tonight and receive their Act 120 Municipal Police Officer Training Certification.
Officer Heefner was previously employed by the Wildwood Crest Police Department. He graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Hammonton, NJ in 2018. He then attended the Camden County Community College and received his Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice.
Officer Tuthill comes to us from the private sector where he was a helicopter mechanic for Leonardo Helicopters in Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated from the Bucks County Technical High School in 2015 and received his Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from the Bucks County Community College.
