Townwatch

Bensalem Town Watch has been established to encourage citizens of Bensalem Township to become involved in crime prevention in their own neighborhoods.

Bensalem Town Watch is a volunteer organization. The purpose is to help the Bensalem Police Protect the community. Town Watch members act as additional eyes and ears for the Police Department. Some members visually check hundreds of residences each night for signs of criminal activity (vandalism, graffiti, break-ins, etc). Town Watch members also notify the Township of burned out street lights, pot holes, abandoned vehicles and other environmental hazards. Participation can include anything from simply receiving crime report information and discussing it with neighbors to actively patrolling your neighborhood. It’s your choice to be as active as you want to be.

Bensalem Town Watch needs you!

To help provide a valuable community service.
To help the Bensalem Police Department to maintain a safe environment.
To help protect your property and your neighborhoods from vandalism, theft, and other criminal acts.
To help keep homeowners’ insurance costs down and property values up.

Town Watch has provided an invaluable service to our community and has earned the appreciation and respect of our Police Department and Township Government. Communication between the residents and the Police Department is essential for the continued success of this program.

You can be part of this important organization!
