Bensalem Police received several tips regarding the identity of this thief. Philadelphia Police in the 2nd District contacted Bensalem Police and advised them that one of their complainants wrote down a registration number of a vehicle involved in a battery theft.
Bensalem Detectives followed up on this lead and discovered that the vehicle was registered to Danielle Stumbaugh who lives on Marple Street in Philadelphia. A further investigation revealed that Stumbaugh's boyfriend, Nicholas Crozier matched the description of the actor in these battery thefts.
Bensalem Police obtained an arrest warrant for Nicholas Crozier and went to his residence in Philadelphia where he was taken into custody without incident. Danielle Stumbaugh was also at the residence and agreed to be questioned by Bensalem Police. Crozier and Stumbaugh were interviewed and both admitted to the thefts.
Nicholas Crozier was arraigned by District Justice Vislosky and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $350,000 bail.
Danielle Stumbaugh was also arraigned by District Justice Vislosky and released on her own recognizance in lieu of $75,000 bail.
